Hamilton and Czuy Return To Las Vegas; Pair of Forwards Added From the AHL

LAS VEGAS, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers® announced today that left wing Kelly Czuy has been loaned to the team by the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League (AHL). The team also announced that center Mike Hamilton has been returned to the team by the Houston Aeros (AHL). The Wranglers will host Victoria for three games this weekend starting this tonight at 7:30 PM.

Czuy was scoreless in one game played the Springfield Falcons this season. Prior to his recall, the left wing played in nine games with Las Vegas, scoring one goal and adding five assists for six points. The 26-year old is in his third full season of pro hockey after spending the last two years with Las Vegas. Czuy suffered an injury in Game Six of the 2008 Kelly Cup Finals in Cincinnati and did not play in 2008-09 until he arrived in Las Vegas. In three seasons with the Wranglers, Czuy has 23 goals and 26 assists for 49 points in 103 games played. The Edmonton, AB native scored seven goals and added ten assists for 17 points in 21 Kelly Cup playoff games in 2008. Czuy also played in the AHL in 2006-07, compiling three assists in 11 games with the Iowa Stars.

Hamilton returns to Las Vegas after a 17-game stint with the AHL's Houston Aeros. The 25-year old notched five points (1g-4a=5 pts) with the Aeros. After being held scoreless in his first game with Houston, Hamilton had a four-game point streak scoring a goal and three assists. The forward played in the Wranglers' first 18 games of the season, scoring four goals and amassing ten points. The Victoria, BC native recorded a +3 and was third on the team with 39 penalty minutes at the time of his recall.

Hamilton spent the bulk of his first season in Gwinnett (ECHL) and had a stint in the American Hockey League with Chicago. In 72 games with the Gladiators, Hamilton scored 23 times and set up 27 others en route to a 50-point season. The 6-foot, 200-pounder also played in eight playoff games for Gwinnett, totaling six assists and eight points. After Gwinnett was knocked out of the Kelly Cup Playoffs, Hamilton joined the Chicago Wolves, who went on to win the AHL's Calder Cup. Hamilton scored once in six playoff appearances for the Wolves.

The Wranglers host Victoria starting Friday, January 23rd at 7:30 PM. The Salmon Kings will stay in town for games on Saturday, January 24th at 7:30 PM and Sunday, January 25th at 2:05 PM. Blue Man Group will perform at the game on Saturday the 24th. Las Vegas will host "Prison Uniform Night" on Friday, January 30th against Bakersfield.
